BOATING
COMPOUND BYE-LAWS (Amended 27th April 1989/6th June 1990).
These rules were formulated by the Committee on the 30th of April 1987
and are subject to alteration by experience in the running of the club. Charges
made will however be honoured for the agreed period.

The Club accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to members
property left in the compound, nor accepts any liability for members
physical damage incurred in the compound either in the execution of Club
voluntary work or private pleasure activities.

2.
The Land Bosun, appointed by the club on an annual basis, and will be
the only authority for land storage permission and compound orderliness.

3.
Club membership will only allow one boat and one trailer in the
compound at any given time unless express written permission is given by the
committee.

4.
Members having a full paid up mooring who wish to use the compound
may do so for up to 3 months
without charge, (Jan, Feb, March) after 3 months permission and terms are to
be agreed with the committee.

5.
Cases of disagreement or information relative to the running of the
compound will be entered in the compound Log Book for attention of the
Club's Officers or full Committee at the monthly meeting held the last
Thursday in the month, the Land Bosun will be responsible for this log.

6.
Members or Guests with children are fully responsible for them, and
are to be under supervision at all times, while on club land.

7.
All craft must be regularly attended, inspected by their owners, or
to notify the land bosun and arrange third party member to do so. All
buildings and land must be kept clean and tidy.

8.
The compound Gates to be locked at all times and no none members
vehicles allowed on site.

9.
No boat to be sold unless removed by the owner and no site visits,
unless with the owner, the committee must be notified on all boats that
are for sale or to be sold.

10.
Emergency land storage is limited to 4 weeks.

11.
Applications for land storage is for a maximum of 6 months, the
application form with necessary fee to be noted by the land bosun.

12.
Abandoned boats on club premises.
The committee agreed to adopt the procedure recommended by the
RYA.(ref. committee meeting 6th June 1990).
